This premium add-on is designed specifically for cover art created by DAZED Designs and provides you with print-ready foil or embossing files for use with your preferred specialty printer.

What’s Included:

Choose one of the following options:

• A multi-layered PDF file with separate foil/emboss elements organized for your printer,

OR

• Two flattened PDF files: one for the base cover design and one for the foil/emboss overlay.

We also now offer support for:

• Jacketed hardcover templates with designated foil/emboss layers for spine, flaps, and front/back design elements. You will be charged an extra $50-$150 fee if you also need a NEW case laminate design for the interior file. This can be discussed at time of purchase or quoted prior to purchase if requested at contact@dazed-designs.com.

What You’ll Need to Provide:

To ensure your foiled or embossed cover files are flawlessly prepared, we’ll need a few details from you:

• Your Chosen Printer
  This can be a printer’s name, website, or direct email contact. Every printer has unique specs, so this helps us tailor the files exactly to their requirements.

• Printer-Specific Template or Spine Calculator
  Most printers will send you a custom template or spine width calculator once you request a quote. This ensures we’re designing with precise measurements for your trim size, binding type, and paper stock.

• Binding & Trim Details
  Please provide your intended cover size, paper GSM, and any bleed or safety margin requirements. These are often listed in the printer’s file guidelines or template instructions.

• Final Page Count of Your Formatted Interior
  Accurate page count is crucial for determining spine width and alignment. (Need formatting help? DAZED Designs also offers professional Manuscript Formatting for an additional fee.)
